Effects of Nursing Combined with Feedback Diet Health Education under the Guidance of Maslow's Hierarchy Theory on Renal Function and Nutritional Indicators of Elderly Patients with Diabetes Nephropathy
Objective To explore the effects of nursing under the guidance of Maslow's hierarchy theory combined with feedback diet health education on renal function and nutritional indicators in elderly patients with diabetic nephropathy(DN).Methods 82 elderly DN patients admitted to Yicheng People's Hospital of Zaozhuang from May 2020 to May 2023 were selected as the research objects.According to the random number table method, they were divided into a control group and an observation group, with 41 cases in each group.Patients in the control group received routine nursing, while patients in the observation group received nursing under the guidance of Maslow's hierarchy theory combined with feedback diet health education for 3 months. The renal function, nutritional indicators and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results Before nursing, there were no statistically significant differences in renal function, nutritional indicators and quality of life between the two groups(P>0.05),after nursing, the serum creatinine(90.52±5.67)μmol/L,24 h urinary protein quantitative(1.03±0.12)g,24 h urinary microalbumin excretion rate(187.58±10.34)mg in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the glomerular filtration rate(84.75±8.20)mL/min was higher than that in the control group, the levels of albumin(36.43±5.84)g/L,hemoglobin(137.10±18.55)g/L,and transferrin(2.57±0.35)g/L in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the score of comprehensive quality of life assessment questionnaire(78.29±5.63)points was higher than that in the control group, and the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Nursing under the guidance of Maslow's hierarchy theory combined with feedback diet health education can effectively improve the renal function, nutritional status and quality of life of elderly patients with DN.
