Effects of Huangqi Jianzhong Decoction Combined with Acupoint Embedding on Gastric Function and Symptom Scores in Patients with Chronic Atrophic Gastritis
Objective To explore the effect of Huangqi Jianzhong Decoction combined with acupoint embedding therapy on patients with chronic atrophic gastritis(CAG).Methods 80 CAG patients admitted to Jinan Hospital of Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine from August 2022 to August 2023 were selected as the study objects and were divided into an observation group and a control group by random number table method,with 40 cases in each group.The control group was treated with conventional western medicine,and the observation group was treated with Huangqi Jianzhong Decoction combined with acupoint embedding therapy.The clinical efficacy,TCM symptom scores,gastric function indexes and the occurrence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 100.00%,higher than 80.00%of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After treatment,the scores of traditional Chinese medicine symptoms such as stomach fullness,stomach warmth,fatigue and lack of strength,little food and lethargy,loose stool,shortness of breath and little speech in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P＜0.05).After treatment,the level of gastrin 17 in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,and the level of pepsinogen I was higher than that in the control group,and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion On the basis of conventional western medicine treatment,Huangqi Jianzhong Decoction combined with acupoint embedding therapy has ideal effect in the treatment of CAG,which can improve the total effective rate of treatment,improve the gastric function of patients,reduce their symptoms,and is safe and reliable,worthy of clinical promotion.
