Observation on the Preventive and Therapeutic Effects of Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupoint Application Combined with Standard Antiemetic Regimen on Chemotherapy Induced Nausea and Vomiting in Patients with Malignant Tumors
Objective To explore the application effect of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)acupoint application combined with standard antiemetic regimen in patients with malignant tumor undergoing chemotherapy.Methods 60 patients with malignant tumor undergoing chemotherapy admitted to our hospital from June 2020 to June 2023 were selected as the research objects.According to the random number table method,they were divided into a control group and an observation group,with 30 cases in each group.The control group was treated with standard antiemetic regimen,and the observation group was treated with TCM acupoint application on the basis of the control group.The nausea and vomiting score,quality of life and adverse drug reactions were compared between the two groups.Results After treatment,the nausea score(1.23±0.22)points,vomiting score(1.05±0.19)points,diet score(1.15±0.17)points in the observation group were lower than(1.68±0.34)points,(1.49±0.31)points,(1.52±0.21)points in the control group,in the World Health Organization quality of life scale,the psychological score was(80.19±5.77)points,the mental score was(15.04±0.33)points,the environmental score was(146.40±7.56)points,the physiological score was(47.21±3.59)points,the social relationship score was(46.51±3.88)points,and the independence score was(65.31±3.56)points,general health and quality of life score(18.13±0.65)points,which were higher than(73.58±6.07)points,(16.17±1.08)points,(136.75±8.90)points,(42.32±4.84)points,(41.12±3.53)points,(60.34±4.23)points,(17.24±0.77)points of the control group,and the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(P＜0.05);there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion TCM acupoint application combined with standard antiemetic regimen can reduce nausea and vomiting in patients with malignant tumor undergoing chemotherapy,improve their quality of life,and has good safety.
