Effect of Effect of Low Frequency Pulse Electromagnetic Field Therapy Instrument Combined with Lumbar Back Core Muscle Strength Training on Postoperative Rehabilitation in Patients with Lumbar Disc Herniation
Objective To explore the effect of low frequency pulse electromagnetic field therapy instrument combined with lumbar back core muscle strength training on postoperative rehabilitation of patients with lumbar disc herniation(LDH).Methods 60 LDH patients admitted to Hebei Xingtai People's Hospital from November 2021 to May 2023 were selected as the study objects and were divided into a control group and an observation group according to random number table method,with 30 cases in each group.The control group underwent lumbar back core muscle strength training,and the observation group was treated with low frequency pulse electromagnetic field therapy instrument on this basis.Both groups continued the intervention for 3 months.The Japanese Orthopaedic Association(JOA)evaluation treatment score of lumbar back,Oswestry disability index(ODI)score and pain Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)score were compared between the two groups.Results After intervention,the JOA scores of conscious symptoms,clinical signs,ability of daily living and bladder function in the observation group were(7.26±0.85)points,(4.33±0.72)points,(11.30±1.36)points and(-2.02±0.71)points,respectively,which were higher than(6.63±1.04)points,(3.67±0.98)points,(10.42±1.55)points,(-2.60±0.65)points in the control group,and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention,the ODI and VAS scores of the observation group were(15.84±3.37)points and(2.38±1.14)points,respectively,which were lower than(19.74±4.60)points and(3.29±1.06)points of the control group,and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Low frequency pulse electromagnetic field therapy instrument combined with lumbar back core muscle strength training can reduce back pain,improve lumbar function and promote recovery of LDH patients.
