Effect of Red Light Irradiation Combined with Ankle Pump Exercise on Ankle Brachial Index and Ulcer Healing in Patients with Diabetes Foot Ulcer
Objective To investigate the effect of red light irradiation combined with ankle pump exercise on diabetic foot ulcer(DFU)patients.Methods 100 DFU patients admitted to our hospital from June 2021 to September 2023 were selected as the research objects.They were divided into an observation group and a control group by the random number table method,with 50 cases in each group.The control group was treated with routine basic treatment.On the basis of the control group,the observation group was treated with red light irradiation combined with ankle pump exercise.The clinical efficacy,Ankle-Brachial Index(ABI),ulcer healing and adverse events were compared between the two groups.Results After treatment,the total effective rate of the observation group was 92.00%,which was significantly higher than 78.00% of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the ABI of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,the incidence of adverse events of ulcer wound symptom score was lower than that of the control group,and the ulcer area was smaller than that of the control group,the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Red light irradiation combined with ankle pump exercise has a significant effect in patients with DFU,which can effectively improve ankle brachial index,accelerate ulcer healing,and reduce adverse event rates.
