Effect of Exercise Rehabilitation Therapy on Joint Function in Patients with Proximal Humerus Fracture after Operation
Objective To investigate the effect of exercise rehabilitation training on joint function in patients with proximal humerus fracture after operation. Methods 100 patients with proximal humeral fracture who underwent surgical treatment in Changzhou Wujin People's Hospital from January 2020 to November 2022 were selected as the study objects and were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, with 50 cases in each group. After operation, the control group received routine rehabilitation training, and the observation group received exercise rehabilitation training. The functional recovery of shoulder joint, the shoulder joint scores and the time for pain and swelling to disappear were observed and compared between the two groups. Results 6 months after operation, the excellent and good rate of shoulder joint function in the observation group was 80.0%,which was higher than 50.0% in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).6 months after operation, the pain, functional use, range of motion, postoperative anatomical position score and total score of Neer shoulder joint function in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).The disappearance time of swelling and pain of affected limb in the observation group were(21.68±3.63)d and(26.89±4.18)d,respectively,which were shorter than(24.02±3.82)d and(29.01±4.41)d in the control group, and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Exercise rehabilitation training can better promote the recovery of shoulder joint function, accelerate the disappearance of swelling and pain in patients with proximal humerus fracture after operation, and is worthy of clinical application.
