Effects of Narrative Medicine Guided Empathic Nursing Combined with Cognitive Behavior Intervention on Coping Style and Emotional State of Patients after Radical Surgery for Breast Cancer
Objective To explore the effects of narrative medicine guided empathic nursing combined with cognitive behavior intervention on coping style and emotional state of patients after radical breast cancer surgery.Methods 100 patients who underwent radical mastectomy in the Affiliated Hospital of Binzhou Medical College from January 2022 to June 2023 were selected as research objects and were divided into a control group and an observation group according to random number table method,with 50 cases in each group.The control group received routine nursing intervention,and the observation group received narrative medicine guided empathic nursing combined with cognitive behavior intervention.Both groups lasted for 8 weeks.The emotional state,coping style and stigma of the two groups were compared.Results After intervention,the scores of Self-rating Anxiety and Self-rating Depression Scale in the observation group were(24.26±3.15)points and(25.38±3.24)points,respectively,which were lower than(32.23±3.53)points and(34.62±3.51)points in the control group,and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention,the negative coping style score in the simplified coping style questionnaire of the observation group was lower than that of the control group,and the positive coping style score was higher than that of the control group,and the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention,the scores of social impact scale in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Narrative medicine guided empathic nursing combined with cognitive behavior intervention can reduce the stigma of patients after radical breast cancer surgery,alleviate their negative emotions and improve their coping style.
