The Therapeutic Effect of Isoniazid Combined with Dexamethasone Intrapleural Injection in the Treatment of Tuberculous Pleurisy
Objective To investigate the effect of intrathoracic injection of isoniazid and dexamethasone in the treatment of tuberculous pleurisy(TP).Methods 80 TP patients admitted to Qiannan People's Hospital of Guizhou Province from December 2018 to February 2023 were selected as the research objects.According to the random number table method, they were divided into a control group and an observation group, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with isoniazid, and the observation group was treated with isoniazid combined with dexamethasone. The clinical efficacy, pleural effusion disappearance time, pleural thickness, lung function and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The clinical efficacy of the observation group was 95.00%,which was higher than 80.00%of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The disappearance time of pleural effusion in the observation group was(12.98±2.12)d,which was shorter than that in the control group, and the pleural thickness was(1.43±0.35)mm,which was thinner than that in the control group, the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).After 4 weeks of treatment, the forced vital capacity(FVC)of the observation group was(3.75±0.42)L,forced expiratory volume in the first second(FEV1)was(2.73±0.24)L,peak expiratory flow was(2.67±0.43)L/s,FEV1/FVC was(72.80±7.94)%,which were higher than those of the control group, the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Isoniazid combined with dexamethasone intrapleural injection is more effective in the treatment of TP patients, which can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of patients, shorten the disappearance time of pleural effusion, and improve the lung function of patients.
