The Effect of Mifepristone Combined with Gestrinone in Patients with Endometriosis
Objective To explore the application effect of mifepristone combined with gestrinone in the treatment of endometriosis and its impact on ovarian function indicators.Methods 106 patients with endometriosis admitted to Jiyang District People's Hospital of Jinan from May 2021 to March 2023 were selected as the research subjects,divide them into a control group and an observation group using a random number table method,with 53 cases in each group.The control group was treated with gestrinone,while the Observation group treated with mifepristone in addition to the control group.The endometrial thickness,ovarian function indicators,symptom improvement,and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results After treatment,the thickness of the endometrium in the observation group was(0.22±0.07)cm,which was thinner than(0.28±0.09)cm in the control group,the levels of follicle stimulating hormone were(6.16±1.42)U/L,luteinizing hormone was(6.45±2.07)U/L,progesterone was(3.71±1.27)nmol/L,and estradiol was(193.24±6.35)pmol/L,which were lower than(8.32±1.45)U/L,(8.69±2.12)U/L,(4.85±1.52)nmol/L,and(241.43±6.28)pmol/L in the control group,respectively,the disappearance time of pelvic pain was(6.74±2.17)d,and the menstrual recovery time was(28.31±4.48)d,which were shorter than(9.14±2.30)d and(34.75±5.57)d in the control group,respectively,the differences between groups were statistically significant(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion The combination of mifepristone and Gestrinone can effectively control the condition of patients with endometriosis,help restore normal ovarian function,and have good safety.
