Application of Peer Support Education Combined with Progressive Rehabilitation Nursing in Patients with Lumbar Spinal Stenosis
Objective To explore the effect of peer support education combined with progressive rehabilitation nursing on lumbar spinal stenosis(LSS).Methods From August 2021 to September 2023,80 patients with LSS admitted to the Second People's Hospital of Liaocheng in Shandong Province were selected as the research objects.According to the random number table method, they were divided into the control group and the observation group, with 40 cases in each group. The control group received routine perioperative intervention, while the observation group received peer support education combined with progressive rehabilitation nursing. The perioperative indicators, pain degree,self-efficacy and complications were compared between the two groups. Results After nursing the operation time and hospitalization time of the observation group were shorter than those of the control group, the amount of bleeding during the operation was less than that of the control group, the visual analogue scale score of pain and the incidence of complications were lower than those of the control group, the general self-efficacy scale score was higher than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant between the two group(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of peer support education combined with progressive rehabilitation nursing in patients with LSS surgery can promote disease rehabilitation, reduce intraoperative blood loss, relieve pain, improve patients'self-efficacy,and reduce postoperative complications.
