Effect of Rehabilitation Nursing Based on Behavioral Motivation Method on Compliance Behavior and Self-Care Ability of Elderly Patients with Hypertension and Coronary Heart Disease
Objective To analyze the effect of rehabilitation nursing based on behavioral motivation method on compliance behavior and self-care ability of elderly patients with hypertension and coronary heart disease. Methods 100 elderly patients with hypertension combined with coronary heart disease admitted to Shanghai Jinshan District Zhongren Elderly Nursing Hospital from February 2021 to January 2023 were selected as the study objects and randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, with 50 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing, and the observation group received rehabilitation nursing based on behavioral motivation method. The compliance of Hypertensive Patients Scale(CHPS)was used to compare the compliance behavior between two groups, the Coronary Self-Management Scale(CSMS)was used to compare the self-care ability of the two groups, the blood pressure indexes such as Diastolic Blood Pressure(DBP)and Systolic Blood Pressure(SBP)and the incidence of cardiovascular events such as myocardial infarction, arrhythmia and heart rate failure were compared between the two groups. Results After nursing, the CHPS scores of intention, attitude towards life, responsibility, smoking, lifestyle and medication in the observation group were(7.55±1.23)points,(5.56±1.27)points,(3.55±1.01)points,(1.33±0.51)points,(6.70±1.42)points and(1.46±0.54)points,respectively,which were lower than(8.25±1.15)points,(6.28±1.13)points,(4.11±0.62)points,(1.63±0.52)points,(7.56±1.67)points,(1.85±0.69)points in the control group, and the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).After nursing, the CSMS scores of disease management, daily life management and emotion management in the observation group were(55.98±3.45)points,(29.46±1.17)points and(14.02±0.75)points,respectively,which were higher than(52.70±5.85)points,(27.96±2.14)points and(12.98±1.41)points in the control group, and the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).After nursing, the levels of SBP and DBP in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of cardiovascular events in the observation group was 2.00%,which was lower than 16.00%in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of behavioral motivation method in rehabilitation nursing of elderly patients with hypertension combined with coronary heart disease can improve their compliance behavior and self-care ability, reduce their blood pressure level and the incidence of cardiovascular events, with significant clinical effects.
