Observation on the Efficacy of Combination Therapy with Dydrogesterone and Progesterone in the Treatment of Threatened Miscarriage Patients with Luteal Insufficiency
Objective To explore the effect of using dydrogesterone and progesterone in patients with threatened miscarriage due to luteal insufficiency. Methods 82 patients with threatened miscarriage due to luteal insufficiency admitted to our hospital from April 2021 to April 2023 were selected as the study subjects, divided into a control group and an observation group using a random number table method, with 41 cases in each group. The control group received progesterone, while the observation group was supplemented with dydrogesterone in addition to the control group, continuous treatment for 2 weeks. The clinical efficacy, sex hormone levels, disappearance time of clinical symptoms, and adverse reactions between the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 95.12%,which was higher than 75.61%in the control group, the difference between groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of human chorionic gonadotropin(HCG)and serum progesterone(P)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, the differences between groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the observation group had a shorter disappearance time for vaginal bleeding, lower back pain, and abdominal pain compared to the control group, the differences between groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reaction between groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The combination of dydrogesterone and progesterone is beneficial for enhancing the therapeutic effect of threatened miscarriage patients with luteal insufficiency, effectively regulating HCG and P levels, reducing clinical symptoms, and improving the outcome of pregnancy preservation, and it has good safety.
