Effect of Kangfuxin Liquid Combined with rb-bFGF on Ulcer Area,Symptom Improvement and Inflammatory Response in Children with Oral Ulcers
Objective To investigate the effects of Kangfuxin Liquid combined with recombinant bovine basic fibroblast growth factor(rb-bFGF)on ulcer area,symptom improvement and inflammatory response in children with oral ulcers.Methods 80 children with oral ulcer admitted to Lanling County People's Hospital from May 2020 to August 2023 were selected as the study objects and were divided into a control group and an observation group according to random number table method,with 40 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Kangfuxin Liquid,and the observation group was treated with rb-bFGF on this basis.Both groups were treated for 7 days.The symptom improvement time,ulcer area,congestion degree,pain degree,inflammatory response and adverse reaction were compared between the two groups.Results After treatment,the time of appetite improvement,pain relief and ulcer healing in the observation group were(3.05±0.68)d,(3.20±0.92)d and(4.10±1.18)d,respectively,which were shorter than those in the control group,and the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(P＜0.05).After treatment,the scores of ulcer area,congestion degree and pain visual analogue in the observation group were(0.87±0.41)points,(0.85±0.24)points and(1.36±0.43)points,respectively,which were lower than those in the control group,and the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(P＜0.05).After treatment,the levels of tumor necrosis factor-α,interleukin-2 and interleukin-8 in the observation group were(185.57±20.42)pg/L,(22.13±4.0)pg/L and(0.38±0.13)μg/L,respectively,which were lower than those in the control group,and the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion Kangfuxin Liquid combined with rb-bFGF in the treatment of children with oral ulcer can rapidly improve their symptoms,reduce ulcer area,relieve congestion and pain,and reduce inflammation,with good safety.
