Observation on the Therapeutic Effect and Adverse Reactions of Fluconazole Tablets Combined with Clotrimazole Vaginal Tablets in the Treatment of Vulvovaginal Candidiasis
Objective To explore the efficacy and adverse reactions of fluconazole tablets combined with clotrimazole vaginal tablets in the treatment of vulvovaginal candidiasis(VVC).Methods 80 VVC patients admitted to Lanling County People's Hospital from October 2020 to March 2022 were selected as the research subjects,divided into a control group and an observation group using a random number table method,with 40 cases in each group.The control group received treatment with clotrimazole vaginal tablets,while the observation group received treatment with fluconazole tablets in addition to the control group.The clinical efficacy,symptom improvement time,inflammatory factors,recurrence rate,and adverse reactions between two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group is higher than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After treatment,the improvement time of clinical symptoms in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05);the levels of interleukin-6,procalcitonin,and C-reactive protein in two groups were lower than before treatment,and the observation group was lower than the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).At 2 and 5 months after treatment,the recurrence rates of the observation group were 2.50%and 5.00%,respectively,which were lower than the 27.50%and 37.50%of the control group,the differences between two groups were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Comparison of the incidence rate of adverse reactions between two groups,the difference was not statistically significant(P＞0.05).Conclusion The combined use of fluconazole tablets and clotrimazole vaginal tablets in VVC patients can effectively improve clinical efficacy,alleviate clinical symptoms and vaginitis,reduce the recurrence rate of the disease,and have good security.
