Analysis of the Application Effect of the Nursing Model of Explanation-Simulation-Practice-Communication-Support in Elderly Patients with Coronary Heart Disease
Objective To analyze the application effect of explanation-simulation-practice-communication-support(ESPCS)nursing model in elderly patients with coronary heart disease.Methods 98 elderly patients with coronary heart disease admitted to our hospital from July 2022 to June 2023 were selected as the research objects.They were divided into a control group and an observation group by random number table method,with 49 cases in each group.The control group was given routine nursing,and the study group was given ESPCS nursing on this basis.The medical compliance behavior,Exercise of Self-care Agency Scale(ESCA),General Self-Efficacy Scale(GSES)and the MOS 36-item Short-Form Health Survey Scale(SF-36)scores were compared between the two groups.Results The total compliance rate of medical compliance behavior in the study group was higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Before the intervention,there were no statistically significant differences in ESCA,GSES and SF-36 scores between the two groups(P＞0.05);after 8 weeks of intervention,the ESCA,GSES and SF-36 scores of the study group were higher than those of the control group,and the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion ESPCS nursing model can mobilize the self-efficacy of elderly patients with coronary heart disease,improve medical compliance behavior and self-care ability,and ensure the quality of life,which has clinical application value.
