The Application Value of Closed Reduction and Headless Compression Screw Internal Fixation Combined with Early Partial Weight-Bearing Rehabilitation Exercise in Promoting Early Recovery of Foot Function in Patients with Calcaneal Fractures
Objective To analyze the effect of closed reduction headless compression screw(HCS)internal fixation com-bined with early partial weight-bearing rehabilitation exercise on patients with calcaneal fractures. Methods 86 patients with calcaneal fractures admitted to our hospital from June 2021 to June 2023 were selected as the research subjects, divided into a control group and an observation group using a random number table method, with 43 cases in each group. All patients un-derwent closed reduction and headless compression screw internal fixation. The control group received routine rehabilitation exercise after surgery, while the observation group received early partial weight-bearing rehabilitation exercise.Compare foot function, quality of life, and complications between two groups after surgery. Results After treatment, the observation group's Maryland foot score was(76.41±6.52)points,the American society for Foot and Ankle Surgery ankle joint score was(76.98±6.18)points,and the comprehensive quality of life questionnaire scores for each dimension were(78.96±5.48)points,(79.52±4.24)points,(76.84±4.83)points,and(79.85±4.31)points,respectively,higher than the control group's(69.96±5.35)points,(68.71±5.25)points,(66.41±4.25)points,and(68.41±3.63)points(68.67±4.15)points,(70.69±3.21)points,the differences between groups were statistically significant(P<0.05);the incidence of complications in the observation group was 4.65%,lower than the 18.60%in the control group, the difference between groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Closed reduction HCS internal fixation combined with early partial weight-bearing rehabilitation exercise can improve foot function and quality of life in patients with calcaneal fractures, with fewer complications, and can be widely applied.
