Effect of Lactulose Oral Liquid Combined with Compound Lactobacillus Acidophilus Tablets in the Treatment of Constipated Irritable Bowel Syndrome
Objective To explore the therapeutic effect of lactulose oral solution combined with compound lactobacillus acidophilus tablets in patients with constipated irritable bowel syndrome(IBS-C).Methods 150 patients with IBS-C admitted to Zhangqiu District Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital in Jinan City,Shandong Province from April 2021 to March 2023 were selected as the study objects and randomly divided into an observation group and a control group,with 75 patients in each group.The control group was given compound Lactobacillus acidophilus tablets,while the observation group was given lactulose oral solution.Compare the clinical efficacy,symptom score,gastrointestinal hormone levels,quality of life,and incidence of adverse reactions between two groups.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 96.00%,which was higher than the control group's 86.67%,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the scores of abdominal distension,abdominal pain,dry stools,and difficulty in defecation in both groups were lower than before treatment,and the observation group was lower than the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of motilin,somatostatin,vasoactive intestinal peptide,and plasma neuropeptide Y in both groups were lower than before treatment,and the observation group was lower than the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The combination of lactulose oral solution and compound lactobacillus acidophilus tablets can enhance the therapeutic effect of IBS-C,alleviate symptoms,improve gastrointestinal hormone levels,and have high safety.
