Effects of Laparoscopic Radical Prostatectomy on Urodynamic Indicators and Postoperative Complications in Early Prostate Cancer Patients
Objective To analyze the effects of laparoscopic radical prostatectomy(LRP)in patients with early prostate cancer(PCa).Methods 86 patients with early PCa admitted to Dongchangfu District Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital in Liaocheng City from June 2021 to June 2023 were selected as the study objects and were divided into a control group and an observation group by random number table method,with 43 cases in each group.The control group received traditional open surgery,the observation group received LRP.All patients were observed for 3 months.The perioperative indexes,severi-ty of symptoms,urodynamics indexes,quality of life and complications were compared between the two groups.Results The intraoperative blood loss in the observation group was(263.41±21.25)mL,which was less than(324.59±25.97)mL in the con-trol group,the operative time was(175.68±16.53)min,longer than(124.26±12.49)min in the control group,the drainage catheter indentation time and hospital stay were(3.21±0.72)d and(11.25±1.68)d,respectively,which were shorter than(5.61±1.59)d and(15.41±2.39)d in the control group,and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).After operation,the bladder compliance of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,the post-void residual urine volume was lower than that of the control group,and the maximum urine flow rate was higher than that of the control group,and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).After surgery,the scores of the international prostate symptom score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,and the scores of all dimensions in the World Health Organization Quality of Life-BREF scale were higher than those in the control group,and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was 4.65%,which was lower than 20.93%in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Con-clusion LRP can alleviate the symptoms of early PCa,improve the urinary fluidity,improve the quality of life of patients with fewer complications.
