Effect of Extended Nursing Based on Omaha System Combined with Wechat Health Education in the Nursing of Diabetic Foot Patients
Objective To explore the effect of extended nursing based on Omaha system combined with WeChat health education on patients with diabetes foot.Methods 84 patients with diabetes foot who were admitted to Yanzhou District People's Hospital of Jining City from December 2020 to August 2023 were selected as the research objects,and were divided into a control group and an observation group according to the random number table,with 42 cases in each group.The control group received routine nursing,while the observation group received extended nursing based on the Omaha system combined with WeChat health education on the basis of the control group.Compare blood glucose levels,foot knowledge mastery,and quality of life between two groups.Results The total mastery rate of foot knowledge in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,with a statistical difference(P<0.05);After the intervention,the glycosylated hemoglobin,2 h postprandial blood glucose,fasting blood glucose,and Diabetes Specific Quality of Life Scale in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,with statistical differences(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of extended nursing based on Omaha system combined with WeChat health education in patients with diabetes foot has significant effect,which can promote patients to master foot related knowledge,better control blood sugar and improve quality of life.
