Analysis of the Efficacy and Safety of Proceedure for Prolapse and Hemorrhoids Combined with Sphincter Folding Surgery in the Treatment of Mild Rectal Prolapse
Objective To explore the efficacy and safety of proceedure for prolapse and hemorrhoids(PPH)combined with sphincter folding surgery in the treatment of mild rectal prolapse. Methods 150 patients with mild rectal prolapse admitted to our hospital from June 2019 to May 2023 were selected as the study objects, and were divided into a control group and an observation group according to random number table method, with 75 cases in each group. The control group was treated with rectal mucosal injection of sclerosing agent and column suture, and the observation group was treated with PPH combined with sphincter folding. The clinical efficacy, anal recovery, pain degree and complications were compared between the two groups. Results The total clinical effective rate of the observation group was 93.33%,which was higher than 82.67%of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The exhaust time of the observation group was(19.31±2.73)h,the defecation recovery time was(28.03±3.42)h,and the wound healing time was(7.37±1.76)d,all of which were shorter than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the pain Visual Analogue Score was(2.85±1.40)points,which was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was 5.00%,lower than 16.00%in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion PPH combined with sphincter folding surgery can effectively promote the recovery of anal function, shorten wound healing time, reduce pain, and have fewer complications, which is safe and reliable.
