Observation on the Efficacy of Short Wave Combined with Ultrasound Drug Penetration Therapy in Patients with Ankle Sprain
Objective To explore the efficacy of short wave combined with ultrasound drug penetration therapy in patients with ankle sprain. Methods Selecting 80 patients with ankle sprains admitted to the hospital from July 2020 to August 2022 as the study subjects, they were randomly divided into a control group and a study group using a random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with short wave therapy, and on the basis of the above treatment, the study group was treated with ultrasound drug penetration therapy. Both groups were treated for 2 weeks.Compare the clinical efficacy, pain Visual Analogue Scale(VAS),degree of swelling, and levels of inflammatory factors between two groups. Results The total effective rate of the study group was 95.00%,which was higher than 80.00%of the control group, with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).After treatment, the VAS score of the study group was lower than that of the control group, the swelling degree was lighter than that of the control group, and the levels of C-reactive protein and tumor necrosis factor-α were lower than those of the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion Short wave combined with ultrasound drug penetration therapy has significant effect in the treatment of patients with ankle sprain, which helps to reduce ankle swelling and pain, and also can reduce the levels of inflammatory factors, which is conducive to promoting the prognosis of patients, and is worthy of popularization and application.
