Comparison of the Application Value of Drug-Coated Balloons and Drug-Eluting Stents in Coronary Intervention Treatment in Patients with Coronary Heart Disease
Objective To compare the effects of drug-coated balloon and drug-eluting stent on coronary heart disease patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).Methods 150 patients with coronary heart disease who underwent PCI treatment in our hospital from January 2021 to December 2022 were selected as the study objects, and were divided into a control group and an observation group according to random number table method, with 75 cases in each group. The control group received drug-eluting stent, and the observation group received drug-coated balloon. The incidence of restenosis, heart function and Major Adverse Cardiovascular Events(MACE)were compared between the two groups. Results The incidence of restenosis and MACE in the observation group was 4.00%and 2.67%,both lower than 13.89%and 12.00%in the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).One year after surgery, the left ventricular end-systolic diameter in the observation group was(38.71±2.83)mm,and the left ventricular end-diastolic diameter was(42.46±3.74)mm,both of which were shorter than(45.89±3.26)mm and(49.71±4.26)mm in the control group, the left ventricular ejection fraction was(59.53±5.29)%,higher than(53.48±4.76)%of the control group, and the stroke output was(70.31±6.18)mL,more than(64.25±5.29)mL of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The drug-coated balloon can improve the heart function of coronary heart disease patients undergoing PCI,reduce the restenosis rate and the incidence of MACE,which has certain application value and is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
