Comparison of the Effects of Holmium Laser Lithotripsy and Pneumatic Ballistic Lithotripsy on Surgical Related Indicators and Incidence of Postoperative Complications in Patients with Ureteral Calculi
Objective To investigate the influence of Holmium Laser Lithotripsy(HLL)and Pneumatic Lithotripsy(PL)on operation-related indexes and the incidence of postoperative complications in patients with ureteral calculi. Methods 70 patients with ureteral calculi admitted to Shanghe County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2022 to January 2023 were selected as the research objects, and were divided into a control group and an observation group according to random number table method, with 35 cases in each group. The control group was treated with PL and the observation group was treated with HLL.The calculi clearance rate,operation-related indexes, renal function indexes and postoperative complications were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the stone clearance rate of observation group was 100.00%,higher than 80.00%of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The operation time, stone clearing time, postoperative hematuria time, getting out of bed time and hospital stay time in observation group were shorter than those in control group, and the intraoperative blood loss was less than that in the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of urea nitrogen and serum creatinine in the observation group were lower than before treatment, and the observation group was lower than that in the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion Compared with PL,HLL can achieve a more significant therapeutic effect in the treatment of ureteral calculi, which can effectively improve the operation-related indexes, improve the renal function of patients, but also reduce the incidence of complications.
