Observation on the Therapeutic Effect of Fiber Bronchoscopy Alveolar Lavage Surgery in the Treatment of Children with Lobar Pneumonia
Objective To explore the clinical effect of fiber bronchoscopy alveolar lavage surgery in the treatment of children with lobar pneumonia. Methods 80 children with lobar pneumonia admitted to our hospital from January 2023 to November 2023 were selected as the study objects and randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, each with 40 cases, using a random number table method. The control group received routine treatment, while the observation group received additional treatment with fiber bronchoscopy alveolar lavage surgery for two weeks.Compare the clinical efficacy, clinical recovery indicators, blood routine indicators, and adverse reactions between two groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The observation group had fever reduction time, disappearance of cough time, disappearance of lung rales time, and hospital stay of(3.37±0.35)d,(6.59±1.12)d,(8.33±1.19)d,and(10.82±1.27)d,respectively,all of which were shorter than the control group's(4.58±0.77)d,(8.35±1.25)d,(10.04±1.36)d,and(12.75±1.43)d,with statistically significant differences between the groups(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of C-reactive protein and white blood cell count in the observation group were(5.12±1.02)mg/L and(6.58±1.13)×109/L,respectively,which were lower than(6.57±1.15)mg/L and(8.75±1.16)×109/L in the control group, with statistically significant differences between the groups(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Fiber bronchoscopy alveolar lavage surgery is more effective in treating lobar pneumonia, can accelerate inflammation clearance, promote the disappearance of disease symptoms, and is safe and reliable.
