Clinical Effect of Acupoint Application Combined with Electroacupuncture on Patients with Cerebral Vasospasm after Subarachnoid Hemorrhage
Objective To investigate the effect of acupoint application combined with electroacupuncture on cerebral va-sospasm(CVS)after subarachnoid hemorrhage(SAH).Methods 86 patients with CVS after SAH admitted to Liaocheng Sec-ond People's Hospital from April 2022 to September 2023 were selected as the research objects and were divided into a control group and a research group according to random number table method.The control group(n=43)was treated with elec-troacupuncture,and the research group(n=43)was treated with acupoint application combined with electroacupuncture.The clinical efficacy,middle cerebral artery(MCA)blood flow velocity and daily living ability of the two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate of the research group was 93.02%,higher than 76.74%of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After treatment,the MCA blood flow velocities decreased in both groups,and the research group was slower than that in the control group,and the difference between the groups was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Af-ter treatment,the scores of Barthel index in both groups were increased,and the research group was higher than that in the control group,and the difference between the groups was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion Acupoint application combined with electroacupuncture in the treatment of CVS after SAH can improve clinical efficacy,MCA blood flow velocity and daily living ability of patients.
