Effect of Xiaoke Huoluo Ointment Combined with Acupoint Acupuncture on Patients with Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy
Objective To explore the effect of Xiaoke Huoluo ointment combined with acupoint acupuncture on Patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy. Methods A total of 60 patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy admitted to this hospital from November 2021 to October 2023 were selected as the research objects.According to the random number table, they were divided into an observation group(n=30)and a control group(n=30).The control group was treated with mecobalamin dispersible tablets, and the observation group was treated with Xiaoke Huoluo ointment combined with acupoint acupuncture for 20 days. Two groups of clinical efficacy, nerve conduction velocity and Toronto clinical neuropathy score were compared. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 96.67%,which was higher than 80.00%of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The sensory nerve conduction velocity and motor nerve conduction velocity of common peroneal nerve and median nerve in the observation group were faster than those in the control group, and the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).After 4 and 8 weeks of treatment, the TCSS scores of the observation group were(7.58±1.09)points and(4.26±0.61)points,respectively,which were lower than(9.04±1.32)points and(7.03±0.95)points of the control group, and the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The use of Xiaoke Huoluo ointment combined with acupoint acupuncture in patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy can accelerate nerve conduction velocity and relieve the clinical symptoms.
