Effects of Statins Combined with Trimetazidine on Vascular Endothelial Function and Angina Attacks in Patients with Coronary Heart Disease and Angina Pectoris
Objective To investigate the effects of statin combined with trimetazidine on vascular endothelial function and angina attacks in patients with coronary heart disease and angina pectoris. Methods 90 patients with coronary heart disease and angina pectoris admitted to the Shouguang People's Hospital from March 2022 to March 2023 were selected as the research subjects and were divided into a control group and an observation group according to random number table method. The control group(n=45)was treated with atorvastatin tablet combined with conventional treatment, and the observation group(n=45)was treated with conventional treatment, trimetazidine hydrochloride sustained-release tablet and atorvastatin tablet. The cardiac function, vascular endothelial function, angina pectoris attack and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the serum nitric oxide level in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the serum endothelin-1 and peripheral blood circulating endothelial microparticles levels were lower than those in the control group, the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the frequency of angina pectoris in the observation group was less than that in the control group, and the duration of angina pectoris was shorter than that in the control group, and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the left ventricular ejection fraction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, the left ventricular end-diastolic diameter was shorter than that of the control group, and the myocardial oxygen consumption was lower than that of the control group, and the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Statins combined with trimetazidine in the treatment of patients with coronary heart disease and angina pectoris can improve the vascular endothelial function and cardiac function, improve the symptoms of angina pectoris, and the safety is better.
