Effects of High Flow Nasal Cannula Oxygen Therapy Combined with Human Immunoglobulin on Pulmonary Oxygenation Function and Immunological Indicators in Neonatorum with NICU Severe Pneumonia
Objective To analyze the effects of nasal catheter high flow oxygen therapy(HFNC)combined with human immunoglobulin on pulmonary oxygenation and immunological indexes in neonatal intensive care unit(NICU)children with severe pneumonia Methods A total of 74 children with NICU severe pneumonia admitted to Linyi Central Hospital from August 2020 to August 2023 were selected as the study objects and were divided into a control group and an observation group according to random number table method, with 37 cases in each group. The control group was treated with HFNC,and the observation group was treated with human immunoglobulin on this basis. The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 94.59%,which was higher than 78.38%of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The time of fever remission, the time of lung rale disappearance and the time of cough remission in the observation group were(3.12±0.29)d,(4.20±0.51)d and(3.36±0.53)d,respectively,which were shorter than(4.85±0.46)d,(5.78±0.69)d and(4.95±0.71)d in the control group, the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the carbon dioxide partial pressure of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the blood oxygen partial pressure was higher than that of the control group, and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).The levels of inflammatory factors in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the levels of immunological indicators were higher than those in the control group, and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion HFNC combined with human immunoglobulin can alleviate the symptoms of neonatorum with NICU severe pneumonia, improve their pulmonary oxygenation function, enhance immune function and control inflammatory response, which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
