Objective To explore the effect of combining auditory visual integration training with collective language training in children with delayed language development. Methods 100 children with delayed language development admitted to the hospital from August 2020 to June 2023 were selected as the study objects and divided into a control group and a observation group using a random number table method, with 50 cases in each group. The control group received routine training, while the observation group received visual and auditory integration training combined with collective language training on the basis of routine training. Both groups received continuous training for 3 months.Compare the language development, social skills, and family satisfaction of two groups of children. Results After intervention, the language development scores of both groups of children were higher than before intervention, and the language development scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).The social ability scores of both groups of children were higher than before intervention, and the scores of independent living ability,self-management ability, motor ability, social ability, and homework completion ability dimensions in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).The satisfaction scores of the observation group's family members in terms of training content, training methods, health guidance, needs satisfaction, communication attitude, and training effectiveness were higher than those of the control group, and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Children with delayed language development who receive visual and auditory integration training combined with collective language training can accelerate speech function recovery, improve their social skills, and thus enhance family satisfaction.
