Effect of Huoxue Tongmai Decoction Combined with Fuzi Cake Moxibustion on Pain Level,Knee Joint Function,and DVT Prevention in Patients Undergoing Total Knee Arthroplasty
Objective To analyze the effect of Huoxue Tongmai Decoction combined with Fuzi Cake Moxibustion on patients undergoing total knee arthroplasty(TKA).Methods 128 TKA patients admitted to the hospital from January 2021 to July 2023 were selected as the research subjects,divided them into a control group and an observation group according to random number table method,with 64 cases in each group.The control group received postoperative treatment with Huoxue Tongmai Decoction,while the observation group combined with Fuzi Cake moxibustion treatment on the basis of the control group.Compare the degree of pain,knee joint function,coagulation function,and incidence of deep venous thrombosis(DVT)in the lower limbs between two groups.Results The incidence of DVT in the observation group was 3.12%,which was lower than the 12.50%in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).One week after surgery,the observation group had a lower Visual Analog Score than the control group,four weeks after surgery,the observation group had the knee joint function score of the Hospital for Special Surger was higher than that of the control group,the differences between groups were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Four weeks after surgery,the observation group had longer activated partial thromboplastin time and prothrombin time than the control group,and lower fibrinogen levels than the control group,the differences between groups were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion The combination of Huoxue Tongmai Decoction and Fuzi Cake Moxibustion can alleviate the pain level of TKA patients,improve knee joint function,improve coagulation function,and reduce the incidence of DVT.
