Effects of Huatan Tongluo Decoction Combined with Aspirin on Cognitive Function and Nervous Function in Patients with Acute Cerebral Infarction
Objective To explore the effects of Huatan Tongluo Decoction combined with aspirin on cognitive function and nervous function in patients with acute cerebral infarction.Methods A total of 106 patients with acute cerebral infarction treated in Changping District Hospital of Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine from January 2018 to August 2023 were selected as the study objects.According to different treatment methods,they were divided into a control group and an observation group,with 53 cases in each group.The control group was treated with aspirin,the observation group was treated with Huatan Tongluo Decoction combined with aspirin.The clinical efficacy,neurological function,cognitive function and occurrence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results Before treatment,there was no significant difference in the score of National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale between the two groups(P＞0.05).After treatment,the score of the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale in both groups decreased,and the observation group was lower than the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The total effective rate of the observation group was 96.23%,higher than that of the control group(81.13%),and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Before treatment,there was no significant difference in the scores of the Montreal Cognitive Assessment Scale between the two groups(P＞0.05).After treatment,the scores of the Montreal Cognitive Assessment Scale increased in both groups,and the observation group was higher than the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion Huatan Tongluo Decoction combined with aspirin in the treatment of acute cerebral infarction has a remarkable effect,which can improve the cognitive function and nervous function of patients with less adverse reactions.
