Effect of Combined Treatment of Tobramycin,Dexamethasone and Sodium Hyaluronate on Ocular Inflammatory Response and Tear Film Function in Patients with Dry Eye Syndrome
Objective Exploring the clinical efficacy of tobramycin and dexamethasone combined with sodium hyaluronate in the treatment of dry eye syndrome(DES).Methods 80 DES patients who received treatment in our hospital from January 2021 to June 2023 were selected as the research subjects. They were divided into a control group and an observation group using a random number table method, with 40 patients in each group. The control group received treatment with tobramycin and dexamethasone, while the observation group received treatment with sodium hyaluronate on this basis.Compare the clinical efficacy, levels of inflammatory factors, tear film function, and incidence of adverse reactions between two groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 95.00%,which was higher than the control group's 80.00%,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Before treatment, there was no statistically significant difference in the levels of inflammatory factors and tear film function between the two groups(P>0.05);after treatment, the levels of interleukin-1β,hypersensitive C-reactive protein,interleukin-6,and tumor necrosis factor-α in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the tear film rupture time and basic tear secretion test were longer than those in the control group, and the tear film thickness was thicker than that in the control group, and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The combination of tobramycin, dexamethasone, and sodium hyaluronate in the treatment of DES can effectively alleviate eye inflammation in patients, promote the recovery of tear film function, and it will not increase the occurrence of adverse reactions. It is worth promoting.
