Effect of C3-C6 Single-Open-Door Vertebral Decompression Angioplasty on the Rehabilitation Effect of Patients with Cervical Spinal Cord Injury without Radiographic Abnormality
Objective To explore the effect of C3-C6 single-opening-door vertebral decompression angioplasty in patients with cervical spinal cord injury without radiogra phic abnormality. Methods Ninety cases of cervical spinal cord injury without radiographic abnormality patients admitted between June 2022 and June 2023 were retrospectively analysed and divided into observation group(n=48)and control group(n=42)according to surgical methods. The control group was treated with total laminectomy decompression, and the observation group was treated with C3-C6 single open door spinal canal decompression and arthroplasty.Surgery-related indexes,Visual Analogue Scale(VAS),Japanese Orthopaedic Associationscores(JOA)score,American Spinal Cord Injury Association(ASIA)score, and American Spinal Cord Injury Association(ASIA)score were compared between the two groups. Results There was no statistically significant difference in surgical time and intraoperative bleeding between the two groups(P>0.05);the hospitalization time of the observation group was shorter than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the VAS score and JOA score of both groups improved compared to before treatment, and the VAS score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, the difference was statistical significance(P<0.05);the JOA score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).After treatment, the ASIA grading of the observation group was better than that of the control group, with the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of single door laminoplasty for cervical spinal cord injury without fracture or dislocation has good therapeutic effects, which can improve the postoperative pain level and spinal cord injury situation of patients, and shorten hospitalization time.
