Therapeutic Effect of Compound Glutamine Enteric Coated Capsules Combined with Bifidobacterium Triple Viable Capsules in the Treatment of Diarrhea Type Irritable Bowel Syndrome and Its Impact on Intestinal Mucosal Barrier Function
Objective To explore the effect of bifidobacterium triple viable capsules combined with compound glutamine enteric coated capsules in the treatment of diarrhea type irritable bowel syndrome.Methods Sixty patients with diarrhea type irritable bowel syndrome admitted to Lanzhou Petrochemical General Hospital from July 2021 to July 2023 were selected as the research subjects.They were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group using a random number table method,with 30 cases in each group.The control group was treated with compound glutamine enteric coated capsules alone,while the observation group was treated with bifidobacterium triple viable capsules in combination on the basis of the control group for 4 weeks.The clinical efficacy,symptom improvement,symptom severity,intestinal mucosal barrier function and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The observation group had a shorter time to stop diarrhea compared to the control group,with fewer daily episodes of diarrhea and acute stress compared to the control group,and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P＜0.05).After treatment,the severity scale score of symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After treatment,the levels of serum endotoxin,diamine oxidase,and D-lactate in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P＜0.05).During the treatment period,neither group experienced any adverse reactions.Conclusion Combined treatment with compound glutamine enteric coated capsules and bifidobacterium triple viable capsules in the treatment of diarrhea type irritable bowel syndrome can effectively relieve disease symptoms and repair intestinal mucosal barrier in patients,with good safety.
