Effects of Respiratory Function Training Combined with Rapid Rehabilitation Exercises on Respiratory Function and Quality of Life in Lung Cancer Patients Undergoing Thoracoscopic Lobectomy
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of respiratory function training combined with rapid rehabilitation exercises in lung cancer patients undergoing thoracoscopic lobectomy. Methods 80 cases of lung cancer patients admitted to Linzi District Maternal and Child Health Hospital from March 2022 to February 2023 were selected as the study objects, and were divided into a control group(n=40)and a study group(n=40)by sealed envelope method. The control group underwent respiratory function training from the first day after admission to the first day before surgery. On this basis, the study group practiced rapid rehabilitation exercises after surgery. The levels of forced vital capacity(FVC),forced expiratory volume in one second(FEV1),arterial partial oxygen pressure(PaO2),arterial partial carbon dioxide pressure(PaCO2)and World Health Organization Quality of Life-100(WHOQOL-100)scores,and the anal exhaust time, chest tube retention time, urinary tube retention time and hospital stay were compared between the two groups. Results 7 days after surgery, the levels of FVC and FEV1 in both groups decreased compared with those before surgery, the levels of PaO2 were decreased compared with those before surgery, and the levels of PaCO2 were increased compared with those before surgery, but the levels of FVC and FEV1 in the study group were higher than those in the control group, the levels of PaO2 were higher than those in the control group, and the levels of PaCO2 were lower than those in the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).7 days after surgery, the WHOQOL-100 scores in the study group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).The anal exhaust time, chest tube retention time, urinary tube retention time and hospital stay in the study group were shorter than those in the control group, and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Respiratory function training combined with rapid rehabilitation exercises for lung cancer patients undergoing thoracoscopic lobectomy can improve their respiratory function, contribute to postoperative rehabilitation, and thus improve their quality of life.
