Observation on the Effect of External Fixation Combined with Self-Designed Qinjiao Sanqi Powder External Application in the Treatment of Elderly Distal Radius Fractures
Objective Observation of the therapeutic effect of external fixation combined with self-designed Qinjiao Sanqi powder external application in the treatment of elderly distal radius fractures.Methods A total of 47 elderly patients with distal radius fractures admitted to our hospital from May 2022 to October 2023 were selected as the research subjects,divided into a control group and an observation group based on whether they have used the self-designed Qinjiao Sanqi powder external application treatment.The control group(n=23)was treated with external fixation,while the observation group(n=24)was treated with external fixation combined with self-designed Qinjiao Sanqi powder external application.Comparison of fracture healing time,pain degree,wrist range of motion,and excellent wrist function between two groups.Results After treatment,the fracture healing time in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group,the pain Visual Analogue Scale score was lower than that in the control group,and all wrist joint mobility was greater than that in the control group,the excellent and good rate of wrist function was higher than that in the control group,the differences between groups were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion The external fixation combined with self-designed Qinjiao Sanqi powder external application in the treatment of elderly distal radius fractures has a definite therapeutic effect and is worthy of promotion.
