Analysis of the Effect of Rosuvastatin Combined with Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture and Medicine Therapy on Patients with Phlegm Turbidity Obstruction Type Hypercholesterolemia
Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of rosuvastatin combined with traditional Chinese medicine acupuncture and medicine therapy in patients with phlegm turbidity obstruction type hypercholesterolemia. Methods Sixty patients with phlegm obstruction type hypercholesterolemia admitted to our hospital from September 2022 to October 2023 were selected as the research subjects. The research subjects were divided into a control group and an experimental group using a random number table method, with 30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with rosuvastatin, while the experimental group was treated with rosuvastatin combined with traditional Chinese medicine acupuncture and medicine therapy.Compare the total effective rate, blood lipid levels, traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores, body mass, waist circumference, and incidence of adverse reactions between two groups of treatments. Results The total effective rate of the experimental group was 100.00%,which was higher than the control group's 86.67%,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of total cholesterol was(4.55±0.86)mmol/L,triglycerides level was(1.14±0.57)mmol/L,and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol level was(2.53±0.74)mmol/L in the experimental group were all lower than(5.87±0.98)mmol/L,(2.05±0.66)mmol/L,and(3.62±0.75)mmol/L in the control group, while the level of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(1.65±0.43)mmol/L were higher than(1.21±0.32)mmol/L in the control group, the differences between groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score and body mass of the experimental group were lower than those of the control group, the waist circumference of the experimental group were lower than that of the control group, and the differences between groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The combination of rosuvastatin and traditional Chinese medicine acupuncture medicine therapy has significant therapeutic effects and high safety for patients with phlegm turbidity obstruction type hypercholesterolemia. This combination therapy is worthy of further promotion and application in clinical practice.
