Effect of Shenqi Jiangtang Tablet Assisted Metformin in the Treatment of Type 2 diabetes
Objective To explore the effect of Shenqi Jiangtang Tablet in combination with metformin in the treatment of type 2 diabetes(T2DM)patients.Methods Fifty T2DM patients admitted to the Second People's Hospital of Liupanshui City from October 2022 to October 2023 were selected as the research objects and randomly divided into a control group and an observation group,with 25 patients in each group.The control group was given metformin tablets,while the observation group was given Shenqi Jiangtang tablets orally on the basis of treatment in the control group.The treatment time was three month for both groups.Compare the clinical efficacy,blood glucose levels,insulin resistance indicators,and incidence of adverse reactions between two groups.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 96.00%,which was higher than the control group's 68.00%,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After treatment,the fasting blood glucose,2-hour postprandial blood glucose,and glycated hemoglobin levels in the observation group were all lower than those in the control group,and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P＜0.05).After treatment,the total cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P＜0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion The combination treatment of Shenqi Jiangtang tablets and metformin can significantly improve the blood glucose and lipid levels of T2DM patients,with high safety.
