Effect of Biofeedback Electrical Stimulation Combined with Proprioception and Pelvic Floor Muscle Rehabilitation Training on Pelvic Floor Muscle Strength and Urodynamics in Postpartum Stress Urinary Incontinence Patients
Objective To explore the effects of a combination of biofeedback electrical stimulation, proprioception, and pelvic floor muscle rehabilitation training on postpartum stress urinary incontinence(SUI)patients. Methods A total of 74 postpartum SUI patients admitted to Gaotang Maternal and Child Health Hospital from August 2022 to August 2023 were selected as the research subjects, divided into a control group and an observation group using a random number table method, with 37 cases in each group. The control group received proprioception and pelvic floor muscle rehabilitation training, while the observation group combined with biofeedback electrical stimulation therapy on the basis of the control group.Compare pelvic floor muscle strength, urodynamics, and quality of life between two groups. Results After intervention, the duration of vaginal contractions in the observation group was longer than that in the control group, vaginal contractile electromyography and dynamic vaginal pressure were higher than those in the control group, the differences between groups were statistically significant(P<0.05);after intervention, the maximum urethral closure pressure, maximum urinary flow rate, abdominal pressure leak point pressure, and urinary Incontinence Quality of Life Scale scores of all dimensions and total scores in the observation group were all higher than those in the control group, the differences between groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of biofeedback electrical stimulation, proprioception, and pelvic floor muscle rehabilitation training is beneficial for improving postpartum stress urinary incontinence, strengthening pelvic floor muscle strength in postpartum SUI patients, and improving urodynamic indicators and quality of life.
