Effect of Pelvic Floor Muscle Rehabilitation Device Combined With Kegel Exercise Training on Pelvic Floor Muscle Strength and Urodynamic Indicators in Postpartum Stress Urinary Incontinence Patients
Objective Exploring the effect of pelvic floor muscle rehabilitation device combined with Kegel exercise training on postpartum stress urinary incontinence(SUI)patients. Methods Selecting 80 postpartum SUI patients admitted to Huangdao District Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital in Qingdao from April to August 2023 as the research subjects, divide them into a control group and an observation group using a random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. The control group received routine pelvic floor muscle training, while the observation group received pelvic floor muscle rehabilitation device combined with Kegel exercise training on the basis of the control group.Compare the pelvic floor muscle strength, urodynamic indicators, and quality of life between the two groups. Results After treatment, the duration of vaginal contractions in both groups was longer than before treatment, and the observation group was longer than that of the control group. The vaginal contractile electromyography values and dynamic vaginal pressure in both groups were higher than before treatment, and the observation group was higher than that of the control group, the differences was statistically significant(P<0.05);After treatment, the levels of maximum urethral pressure, detrusor muscle pressure at maximum urine flow rate, functional urethral length, and bladder compliance in both groups were higher than before treatment, and the observation group was higher than that of the control group, the differences was statistically significant(P<0.05);After treatment, the scores and total scores of each dimension of Incontinence Quality of Life Instrument in both groups were higher than before treatment, and the observation group was higher than that of the control group, the differences was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of pelvic floor muscle rehabilitation device and Kegel exercise training has a better therapeutic effect on postpartum SUI patients, significantly promoting pelvic floor muscle strength, urodynamic indicators, and improving quality of life.
