Clinical Effect of Endoscopic Cold Snare Polypectomy and Endoscopic Hot Snare Polypectomy in the Treatment of Colon Polyps
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of endoscopic cold snare polypectomy(CSP)and endoscopic hot snare polypectomy(HSP)in the treatment of colonic polyps. Methods Sixty patients with colon polyps admitted to our hospital from January 2022 to January 2023 were selected as the study objects, and were divided into a control group and an observation group according to random number table method, with 30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with HSP and the observation group was treated with CSP.The operative conditions, pain factors, complete removal rate of polyps and postoperative complication rate were compared between the two groups. Results The operation time and polypectomy time in the observation group were(16.57±1.32)min and(3.17±0.32)min,respectively,which were shorter than(21.35±2.47)min and(3.98±0.41)min in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The levels of Prostaglandin E2 and Substancep in the observation group were(170.32±15.43)pg/mL and(3.25±0.42)μg/mL,respectively,which were lower than(196.54±17.54)pg/mL and(4.19±0.47)μg/mL in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The complete removal rate of polyps in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the incidence of postoperative complications was lower than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Compared with HSP,the treatment of colon polyp patients with CSP can achieve more significant therapeutic effects, not only can improve the complete removal rate of polyps, but also less trauma, high safety and reliability.
