Effect of Pro-Kin Ankle Joint Proprioceptive Training Combined with PNF Technology on Lower Limb Motor Function and Balance Function in Hemiplegia Patients
Objective Exploring the effects of Pro-Kin ankle joint proprioceptive training combined with proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation(PNF)technology on lower limb motor function and balance function in hemiplegia patients. Methods Selecting 60 hemiplegic patients admitted to Wuxi Second Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from June 2020 to June 2023 as the research subjects, divide them into a control group and an observation group using a random number table method, with 30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with PNF technology, while the observation group was treated with Pro-Kin ankle proprioceptive training combined with PNF technology.Compare the lower limb motor function and balance function between two groups. Results After 8 weeks of treatment, the observation group had higher upper limb Fugl-Meyer Assessment Scale(FMA)and lower limb FMA score than the control group, the Fugl-Meyer Balance Scale and Berg Balance Score were also higher than that of the control group, the Barthel Index was higher than that of the control group, and the Life Satisfaction Index A was higher than that of the control group, the differences between groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Pro-Kin ankle proprioceptive training combined with PNF technology has a positive impact on lower limb motor function and balance function in hemiplegia patients, which can improve their daily life activities and life satisfaction.
