Effects of Transurethral Bladder Holmium Laser Lithotripsy Combined with PKRP on Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms and Postoperative VAS Scores in Patients with Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia Complicated with Bladder Stones
Objective To analyze the effects of transurethral bladderholmium laser lithotripsy combined with transurethral plasma kinetic resection of prostate(PKRP)on lower urinary tract symptoms and postoperative pain in patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia complicated with bladder stones by pain Visual Analogue Scale(VAS).Methods Seventy-four patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia complicated with bladder stones admitted to our hospital from August 2021 to August 2023 were selected as the research objects, and randomly divided into a control group and an observation group with 37 cases in each group by drawing lot.The two groups were treated with PKRP,the control group w as treated with pneumatic ballistic lithotripsy, and the observation group was treated with holmium laser lithotripsy.Perioperative indexes, lower urinary tract symptoms,VAS score, success rate of lithotomy and incidence of complications were compared between the two groups. Results After operation, lower urinary tract symptom score and VAS score in observation group were lower than those in control group, and the difference between groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).The one-time stone clearance rate of the observation group was 97.30%,which was higher than 75.68%of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of postoperative complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, but there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).The operation time in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The intraoperative blood loss and hospital stay in the observation group were less than those in the control group, but there was no statistical significance between the groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Transurethral bladder holmium laser lithotripsy combined with PKRP can improve the symptoms of lower urinary tract and reduce the pain of patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia complicated with bladder stones, and the combined operation can increase the rate of stone removal.
