Effect of Comprehensive Nursing under the Guidance of Planned Behavior Theory in Uremic Hemodialysis Patients
Objective To explore the application effect of comprehensive nursing under the guidance of planned behavior theory in uremic hemodialysis patients. Methods From July 2018 to July 2023,two hundred uremic hemodialysis patients from Shen County People's Hospital were selected and divided into a control group and an observation group using a random number table method, with 100 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing, while the observation group received comprehensive nursing guided by planned behavior theory. The self perceived burden, coping styles,self-management abilities, incidence of complications, and quality of life between two groups were compared. Results After nursing, the emotional burden, physical burden, and economic burden scores in Self Perceived Burden Scale of the observation group were lower than those in the control group, there were statistically significant differences between the groups(P<0.05).After nursing, the positive coping score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, while the negative coping score was lower than that of the control group, the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).After nursing, the self-concept,health cognition, sense of responsibility, and self-care skills scores in the Self-Management Ability Measurement Scale of the observation group were higher than those in the control group, the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of complications in the observation group was 5.00%,which was lower than 13.00%in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After nursing, the observation group had higher scores in the physiological, psychological, social, and environmental domains than the control group on the World Health Organization Quality of Life Scale, with statistically significant differences between the groups(P<0.05).Conclusion Comprehensive nursing under the guidance of planned behavior theory can reduce the self perceived burden of uremic hemodialysis patients, enhance self-management abilities, reduce the occurrence of complications and nagative coping behaviors, and improve quality of life.
