Application Value of Exercise Prescription Based on Progressive Model Combined with Multimedia Video Education in Functional Rehabilitation of Elderly Patients after Hip Replacement Surgery
Objective To explore the application value of progressive model based exercise prescription combined with multimedia video education in functional rehabilitation of elderly patients after hip arthroplasty. Methods Seventy-two elderly patients undergoing hip replacement surgery admitted to Na njing Jiangning Hospital from August 2021 to October 2023 were selected as the study objects, and were divided into a control group and an observation group according to random number table method, with 36 cases in each group. The control group received routine rehabilitation interven tion, and the observation group received exercise prescription based on progressive model combined with multimedia video education intervention. The intervention lasted for 8 weeks in both groups.Hip function, balance function and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results Before intervention, there were no significant differences in hip function, balance function and quality of life between the two groups(P>0.05);after intervention, the score of Berg Balance Scale in the observation group was(43.62±3.24)points,which was higher than(37.85±2.89)points of the control group, and the scores of Harris Hip Function Scale and World Health Organization Quality of Life Scale in all dimensions were higher than those of the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion Exercise prescription based on progressive model combined with multimedia video education can effectively enhance the balance function of elderly patients undergoing hip replacement surgery, promote the recovery of hip function and improve the quality of life.
