Impact of Acceptance and Commitment Concept Nursing Combined with Early Rehabilitation Nursing on Post-Traumatic Growth and Functional Recovery of Patients with Traumatic Brain Injury
Objective To explore the impact of acceptance and commitment concept nursing combined with early rehab-ilitation nursing on the post-traumatic growth and functional recovery of patients with traumatic brain injury. Methods A total of 100 patients with traumatic brain injury admitted to Chifeng Hospital from October 2019 to October 2022 were selected as the research objects. They were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, with 50 patients in each group, using a random number table method. The control group received routine nursing care, while the observation group received acceptance and commitment concept nursing combined with early rehabilitation nursing, both groups received one month of nursing.Compare the post-traumatic growth scores and functional recovery between two groups. Results Before nursing, there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups in terms of post-traumatic growth score,National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS),and Fugl Meyer Motor Function Assessment Scale(FMAS)scores(P>0.05).After nursing, the observation group had higher scores in personal strength, self transformation, life perception, new possibilities, and relationships with others than the control group, the NIHSS score was lower than the control group, and the upper and lower limb function scores in FMAS were higher than the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of acceptance and commitment concept nursing and early rehabilitation nursing can effectively improve the post-traumatic growth level of patients with traumatic brain injury, and accelerate the recovery of neurological and motor functions.
