Effect of Individualized Nursing Intervention on Blood Glucose Levels and Adverse Pregnancy Outcomes in Patients with Gestational Diabetes Mellitus
Objective To investigate the effect of individualized nursing on blood glucose and adverse pregnancy outcomes in gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM).Methods Eighty patients with GDM admitted to our hospital from April 2022 to May 2023 were selected as the research objects, divided into an observation group and a control group using a random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing intervention, and the observation group was given individualized nursing intervention.Compare blood glucose levels and adverse pregnancy outcomes between two groups. Results Intervention for 12 weeks, the levels of fasting blood glucose,2 h postprandial blood glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the differences between groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of premature birth, cesarean section, macrosomia, and intrauterine fetal distress in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, the differences between groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Individualized nursing interventions for GDM patients can effectively control blood glucose levels and improve adverse pregnancy outcomes, which is worth popularizing.
