Observation on the Therapeutic Effect of Local Injection of Ozone Water Combined with Lidocaine on Upper Limb Spasms in Hemiplegic Patients
Objective To study the therapeutic effect of local injection of ozone water and lidocaine on upper limb spasms in hemiplegic patients. Methods One hundred hemiplegic patients who visited the hospital from October 2022 to Dcember 2023 were selected as the research subjects. The selected subjects were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group using a random number table method, with 50 cases in each group. The control group received the biceps brachii extension of the affected side, and the observation group received the injection of ozone water and lidocaine into the biceps brachii muscle abdomen of the affected side on the basis of the control group. Both groups received routine upper limb function training, activities of daily living training and acupuncture and moxibustion intervention.Compare the speed of symptom relief in two groups of hemiplegia, the Modified Ashworth Scale(MAS)score before and after intervention, and the Modified Barthel Index(MBI)score and efficacy before and after intervention. Results After one month of intervention, the MAS grade of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the MBI score was higher than that of the control group, with statistically significant differences between the groups(P<0.05).The relief time of upper limb spasms in the observation group was(6.25±1.58)months,which was shorter than(7.24±2.05)months in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate of the observation group was 68.00%,which was higher than the control group's 40.00%,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Local injection of ozone water and lidocaine can improve the degree of upper limb spasms in hemiplegic patients, enhance their self-care ability, and enhance overall efficacy.
