Research Progress of Respiratory Training in Improving Swallowing Dysfunction after Stroke
Swallowing dysfunction is one of the most common complications in stroke patients,mainly manifested as changes in swallowing efficiency and safety,often causing patients to experience dysphagia,nutrient absorption disorders,coughing when drinking or eating,and aspiration pneumonia.A series of adverse reactions,even life-threatening,seriously affect the physical and mental health and quality of life of patients.Studies have shown that respiratory training supplemented by routine rehabilitation training can significantly improve patients'swallowing function and lung function,reduce the occurrence of stroke-related pneumonia,and alleviate dyspnea,which is worthy of clinical promotion.This article reviews the progress of respiratory training in the treatment of dysphagia after stroke in recent years at home and abroad,in order to provide an objective basis for clinical treatment of dysphagia after stroke.
