Application Effect and Safety Analysis of Traditional Chinese Medicine Combined with Rehabilitation Physiotherapy in Children with Recurrent Respiratory Tract Infection
Objective To explore the efficacy and safety of traditional Chinese medicine combined with rehabilitation therapy in children with recurrent respiratory tract infection. Methods A total of 80 children with recurrent respiratory tract infection admitted to the hospital from January 2021 to January 2022 were selected as the study objects, and were divided into a control group and a study group according to random number table method. The control group was treated with western medicine, and the study group was treated with traditional Chinese medicine combined with rehabilitation therapy. The TCM syndrome scores, symptom remission time and clinical efficacy were compared between the two groups. Results Before treatment, there was no significant difference in symptom scores between the two groups(P<0.05).After 15 days of treatment, the scores of fever, runny nose, nasal obstruction and cough were(0.61±0.45)points,(0.72±0.41)points,(0.82±0.71)points and(1.02±0.85)points,respectively,which were lower than(1.42±0.87)points,(1.35±0.68)points,(1.45±0.56)points,(1.47±0.73)points of the control group, and the differences between groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).In the study group, the remission time of fever, runny nose, nasal obstruction and cough were(2.45±0.41)d,(3.12±0.53)d,(3.37±0.56)d,(3.25±0.68)d,respectively,which were shorter than(3.56±0.57)d,(4.18±0.62)d,(4.25±0.48)d,(4.53±0.26)d in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The effective rate of the study group was 97.50%,higher than 80.00%of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Traditional Chinese medicine combined with rehabilitation therapy is effective and safe for children with recurrent respiratory tract infection.
